Something even stranger has now been revealed to me.
The band Future 3 (now known as System) released an EP called "The Boy From West Bronx" in 1998 (waaay before The XX) with this cover!

Seriously, this is getting weirder and weirder... maybe it's a world conspiracy (only made to freak me out).
